TRADUCTION
(Concerning) 16 5/6 minas of silver for not cutting off the hand and 1 m 2 shekel of silver instead of 21 beatings: in total 17 m 22 shekels (sic) instead of not cutting off the hand and 21 beatings, charged against Marduk-rēmanni/Bēl-uballiṭ/Ṣāhit-ginê. (4) Of this (amount) Nusku-īnāya (!), brother of Ba-Ilteri-ahatta, has received from Marduk-rēmanni/Bēl-uballiṭ/Ṣāhit-ginê: 2 m 29 shekel of silver, the share of Ba-Ilteri-ahatta/Nusku-ayalu, brother of Nusku-īnāya, and 1 m silver instead of the seized property of Ba-Ilteri-ahatta, in total 3 m 29 shekel of silver instead of not cutting off the hand, the beatings and the seized property, the share of Ba-Ilteri-ahatta/Nusku-ayalu. (11) Nusku-īnāya shall clear the (receipt of the) 3 m 29 shekel of with Ba-Ilteri-ahatta and give (proof of it) to Marduk-rēmanni. (13) Nusku-īnāya, brother of Ba-Ilteri-ahatta, guarantees that Ba-Ilteri-ahatta, his brother, shall not litigate (again) about cutting off the hand, the beatings and the seized property. (16) Nusku-īnāya has made an agreement with Marduk-rēmanni about cutting off the hand, the beatings and the seized property, as far as his brother Ba-Ilteri-ahatta’s share (in this matter) is concerned. (19) Except of the previous tablet of 3 m (+ x) silver paid by Marduk-rēmanni instead of not cutting off the hand, the beatings and the seized property, the share of Nusku-īnāya. (22) And (except of) the 8 shekel of silver that were paid in the previous tablet. (23) Nusku-īnāya has received the remaining 3 m 29 shekel of silver from Marduk-rēmanni/Bēl-uballiṭ/Ṣāhit-ginê. The text contains a number of orthographic errors (non-existing signs, deviant forms and uncommon ligation), grammatical mistakes (l. 23) and miscalculations (l. 1-2).

(1-2) The addition is incorrect.
(5) Iba-a’-ìl-te-ri-a-ha-at-ta (Ba-Ilteri-ahatta): is this the West-Semitic version of personal name type Itti-GN-ahūtu (cf. Tallqvist 1905: 302)?
(7a) Iba-a’-ìl-te!-ri-˹a˺-hat-tu4: the -te- sign is written like -na- with three slanted wedges, unlike the correct rendering of -te- in lines 5 and 6. The same deviant form of -te- is found in the remainder of MR 127.
(7b) The second half of this line (starting at PAB) is written over an erasure showing traces of earlier signs.
(8) There are textile marks in the middle of this line.
(9) Iba-a’-ìl-te-ri-a-ha-at!?-tu4: the sign between ha and tu4, is non-existing. It looks like KUR + SU and was intended to represent at, as seen in lines 10, 12, 14.
(10) “Nusku-ayalu” is a mistake for “Nusku-īnāya”, Ba-Ilteri-ahatta’s brother attested in MR 126a-b and MR 128.
(12) Idnusku-igiII-ia!?: after igi follows a strange looking sign resembling DA or MA-Šú rather than IA.
(14) la is written ku; in di!-i-ni the sign di is misformed.
(16) a-ha-SU-ti: should be ahištu (cf. MR 126a : 11).
(16-17) Note that these two lines display two different forms of the sign TA.
(20) The amount of silver is 3 + 1/3, 3 + 2/3, or 3 + 5/6 minas.
(23) Note that the text does not read i-te-ṭir5-u’ (Roth 2007: 215) but ia iš še lu u’, although the former verb was probably intended.
(25-36) The text has three witnesses in common with MR 126a (see there).
(25) Ili-ib-ba-ṭi should be Ili-ib-lu-ṭi, cf. Libluṭ(Ilib-luṭ)/Erība-Marduk/Arad-Ea in MR 80a : 15 (Zazannu, Dar 12).
(25-26) Iddinā/Kāṣir/Nappāhu witnessed other texts of Marduk-rēmanni: MR 72 : 13 and MR 73 : 13 (Babylon, Dar 10), and MR 83 : 17 (Sippar, Dar 12).
(31) Bēl-ēṭir could be a brother of Marduk-rēmanni’s tenant Bēl-uballiṭ/Ṣillā/Mušēzib, MR 112 : 4, 10 (Sippar, Dar 23).
